Wow, Frank (or whatever your name is). This is a first. Why do you want me to waste your time even more than I already have? If you would be willing to keep corresponding with me I have a lot of questions I would like to ask you.

But first I will answer your question. Your check is bogus. It's very obvious. There's no watermark. I could easily phone Apache Motorcycles Inc in Phoenix and verify that the check is a forgery but I don't need to, I know it's bad.

You're obviously (from your poor grammar and punctuation) not from the West. I would guess Nigeria but I could be wrong. You wouldn't happen to be Bamidele Odusina from Lagos would you?

I ask for $640.00. You send me $3,500.00 and ask me to wire you the difference. There's NO legitimate reason to do that. Wire transfers and Money Grams are like cash. There's no traceability and no recourse. You pressure me to do this IMMEDIATELY. This is so that by the time your check comes back to my bank a few days or a week or two from now, you'll have the money and I'll be stuck for the difference.

I've engaged in this "reverse scam" process with dozens of scammers just like you. I have a large collection of bogus checks. The scenario is always the same. Nobody is coming up with anything more creative. I'm getting bored with it but I have an ulterior motive. If you're still reading this (I hope you are) respond back and I will explain how I benefit from this process.

There’s no reason to get profane, Frank. And there is absolutely nothing I can do with your check. If I put it in my bank it would come back and I would have to give the money back to the bank plus fees that the bank would charge me. If I try to pass the check off as legitimate, I would go to jail, which is what happens in America if you purposefully write bad checks. I can do nothing with your check except throw it away.

If I am wrong about you, then you could take the money that you have (because I have not cashed your check) and use it to get your flight tickets and you and your son John could come here. If you did that, I would be happy to pick you up at the airport and take you to a hotel within walking distance to my teaching studio. I would apologize to you in person and would give your son the first lesson for free.

I really don’t see that happening, but I could be wrong. So, the scenario I spelled out above would be a way that you could prove your good intentions to me.

If you do not respond, or if you continue to curse at me and use profanity, then I can only conclude that I was right about you, you are running a scam and have tried to steal from me.
