Master Guitar

This is a very early Alvarez Yairi. Yairi is a Japanese luthier who teamed up with Alvarez to market and distribute his guitars. The serial number on this is 01079. Yairi guitars are all hand made and very well crafted. This guitar was given to me in the early eighties by one of my students so I don't know much about the history of it. My student had used it to study Flamenco in San Francisco previously to studying with me. I had a Martin classical at the time and I like this better than the Martin. It's a gem!
